I’ve seen a lot of articles lately that I thought were pretty important to share. Normally I share these on my personal facebook page, but I thought this would be a good place to share with my readers. Conventional wisdom (from the last 30 years) says that fats are bad for us, and we need to restrict calories in order to lose weight and be healthy. We’re told by well meaning medical professionals to practice portion control. And yet, over the last 10-15 years there has been a growing body of evidence that low fat and low calorie diets do more damage than good. I think there are two important rules to follow. Eat your veggies, and if it comes in a box, don’t eat it.
